چکیده
Meckel’s diverticulum (MD) is commonest congenital gastrointestinal anomaly, the common complications associated with MD are hemorrhage, ulceration, intestinal obstruction, diverticulitis, umbilical anomalies, and neoplasm. Perforation of a rare entity there’s very less documentation regarding incidence perforation. perforation usually life-threatening complication high mortality, due to peptic ulcer disease occurring in ectopic gastric mucosa which might be present MD. NSAID intake Merkel’s has been documented few studies. have well established but relation between NSAIDs heterotrophic not documented. With use becoming it is, therefore, important document this association.

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug-induced enteropathy
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are well known to be associated with serious upper gastrointestinal complications, such as peptic ulcer, bleeding, perforation, and obstruction. Recently, attention has been mainly focused on the small bowel injuries caused by NSAIDs, and new endoscopic techniques such as capsule endoscopy and double balloon endoscopy can help in detecting such inj...
متن کاملNon-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug (NSAID)-Induced Small Intestinal Injury
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), including lowdose aspirin, are among the most widely prescribed medications, with approximately 30 million patients worldwide ingesting NSAID [1]. NSAID could cause small intestinal injury. It became clear from the studies of post-mortem samplesby Bjarnason and colleagues (1993) that NSAID use is alsoassociated with significant damage to the more d...

Transient reactive papulotranslucent acrokeratoderma (TRPA) is an unusual skin condition characterized by the rapid and transient development of symmetric, edematous white papules with eccrine duct prominence on the palms after exposure to water. We present the case of a 28-year-old woman diagnosed in our clinic with TRPA induced by the use of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. The possibl...

Background: Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) use and H pylori infection are two major causes of peptic ulcers. This study investigates the effect of H pylori infection and NSAIDs on gastroduodenal damages and bleeding (GIB). Methods: 104 patients with acute gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB) and 102 patients with dyspepsia without bleeding were studied. Duodenal (DU) and gastric ulcers...
